GESA Notice of Approval: Notice Approval & Award of Guaranteed Energy Services Agreement by the Tri-Valley School District
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act of 1986, July 3, P.L. 388 No. 84, as amended and the Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects, (Act 57 of 1998, Act 77 of 2004, Act 39 and Act 163 of 2016 in Title 62, Chapter 37, Subchapter E of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes), that the Board of the Tri-Valley School District will consider for approval, at a Voting Meeting of the Board to be held on, Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Tri-Valley Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium at 155 East Main St., Hegins, PA 17938 to take action to approve and accept a Guaranteed Energy Savings Agreement from Quandel Energy Solutions (“ESCO”). Scopes of work in this portion of the Guaranteed Energy Savings Project include the installation of a solar photovoltaic array and new roof system to generate electricity and improve long-term energy sustainability at both the Tri-Valley High School and Hegins-Hubley Elementary. The proposal to be accepted by the Board between the ESCO and the Board provides that the lump sum cost of the work shall not exceed $4,500,000. Final action on said budget will take place at the board meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the Tri-Valley High School, 155 E Main St, Hegins, PA. This memorandum is provided as notice, pursuant to Section 1073 of the Public School Code, 24 P.S. § 10-1073, that the agenda for the special meeting of the Board of School Directors of the Tri-Valley School District to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, will include an item for the proposed election of Mr. Thomas A.
