Tri-Valley School District Superintendent Search Update
The Tri-Valley Board of Education wishes to inform our school community that Superintendent-elect Thomas Podpora has accepted the position of Superintendent of Schools for the Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District. We respect his decision and wish him continued success in his new leadership role.
As a result, the Board will resume its search for Tri-Valley’s next Superintendent. While we are disappointed that the process must continue, we are confident that the work completed thus far has placed us in a stronger position moving forward.
Through staff surveys, community feedback, and the interview process, we gained valuable insight into the qualities and characteristics that our students, staff, families, and community members seek in the district’s next leader. This feedback will continue to guide the Board as we move forward with the search.
The Superintendent position will be reposted, and updates will be shared as the process progresses. In the meantime, Acting Superintendent Paul R. Caputo will continue to provide leadership and support to the district.
The Tri-Valley School District appreciates the continued support, patience, and engagement of its students, staff, families, and community members throughout this process. The Board of Education remains committed to conducting a thorough search to identify the best leader for the district’s future. For additional information regarding the Superintendent search, please contact Acting Superintendent Caputo at prc@tvdawgs.net.
